DHAKA: How full of wonders the world is! Here peep thousands of unknown wonders. Some are discovered and some are hidden under the shade of our imagination to discover.

Men have been taking several expeditions (organized journey or voyage with a particular aim) and explorations (travel to win the unknown) to every nook and corner of the world.

They also have made people believe the unbelievable and incredible matter believable and credible. Now we are going to know about an incredible fact below:

All we know that none can get rescued from the mouth of crocodiles except hippos. But who ever have heard the name of a giant-like fish named ‘Crocodile Eater’? Yes. Even the crocodiles are always in the fear of this fish. This is nothing but a kind of large ferocious fish.

The name of the fish is ‘Water-Giant Tiger-Fish’. Because of its ferocity, crocodiles also always avoid to face it. It’s another name is Water-Hyena. If two or three of this group get any chance, they attack a crocodile and instantly begin to tear up its fleshes and eat up within a short time.

The river Congo is the only abode (living place) of the Tiger-Fish. A fearless fish-hunter named Jeremy went to Congo with a view to fishing. Fortunately, he caught a large fish. It looked most likely a ferocious shark.

Mr. Jeremy observed that it had two series of very sharp pointed teeth. Its body was very slippery and so, it is very hard and risky to catch. Moreover, it is seen to move in a group and also eats up its prey in a body. Because of its nature, dangerous teeth and ferocity, Jeremy named it ‘Water-Giant Tiger-Fish’.

Its body-color is generally grey. But it may have black stripe on its grey color. It weighs about 50 kg. And the length is 6 to 7 ft. Its body has many special air-sacs which help it to follow the sound of its prey and float. It also hunts its prey even from the bank of the river.

Indeed, its size, shape and character have named it ‘Water-Giant Tiger-Fish.
