KUALA LUMPUR: Bangladesh’s leading online news portal Banglanews24 organized a discussion & views-exchanging meeting on the prospects and problems faced by the Bangladeshi expatriates in Malaysia.

The discussion began at Holiday Express Inn in Kuala Lumpur, at 1:00 PM (BST) Friday (December 8), chaired by Banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain.

Bangladesh High Commissioner in Malaysia Shahidul Islam attended the program as the chief guest. The top community leaders of the Bangladeshis living in Malaysia also took part in the discussion.

Expatriate Bangladeshis are the second largest community living here. They have got enormous prospect along with some problems too. The country is generally preferred by the Bangladeshis for tourism and medical treatment purposes.

Earlier, the visiting Banglanews team made several reports on the work spheres of expatriate Bangladeshis in Malaysia, while touring there for week.
