The Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has announced to increase the price of pure gold prices by Tk 1,283 per bhori for the local market.

According to the new rates, each bhori or 11.664 grammes of 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 98,444, price of gold per 21 carat has been reduced by Tk 1,633 to Tk 93,953.

A BAJUS published a notification in this regard on Wednesday (June 7) said the new rate will be effective from Thursday.

The price of 22-carat silver is Tk 1,715 per gram while 21-carat Tk 1,633 and the price is Tk 1,400 per gram of 18-carat silver and Tk 1,050 for traditional one.
