DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 25 points to stand at 5,302 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 124226 with transaction at Tk 5265 million. Of the issues traded, 205 advanced, 47 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 430 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were DELTALIFE, PTL, ARGONDENIM, RNSPIN, ENVOYTEX, TALLUSPIN, BDBUILDING, BENGALWTL, and CENTRALPHL.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,433by gaining over 60 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 154 gained, 50 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
