DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over four points to stand at 4,333 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 163,820 with transaction at Tk 7,159 million. Of the issues traded, 153 advanced, 11 declined and 27 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 268 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were PTL, RNSPIN, GOLDENSON, DELTALIFE, AAMRATECH, DELTASPINN, KEYACOSMET, CENTRALPHL and ARGONDENIM     .
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,510 by gaining over 19 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 128 gained, 77 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
