DHAKA: Hundreds of common people, workers and businessmen brought out a ‘white flag’ procession in city’s Motijheel area on Sunday protesting ongoing crisis, unrest, violence and killings.

The protest procession was brought out from in front of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) building at around 11:30am where hundreds of workers and general people joined.

They also staged a protest rally at the venue where FBCCI president Kazi Akram Uddin, vice-president Helal Uddin and former FBCCI president Mir Nasir Hossain and other business leaders addressed.

Following the rally movement of all types of vehicle remained stopped in the area.
