Bashundhara Group, the country’s largest business conglomerate, has started fair-price sales of essential commodities to reduce sufferings to poor and middle-class customers.

Bashundhara Group’s Vice-Chairman Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir inaugurated the programme in front of the Evercare Hospital in the capital on Tuesday.

Like in previous years, Bashundhara Food and Beverage arranged ‘fair price sales’ of commodities across the country marking the month of Ramadan. This year, Bashundhara is selling a total of 31 products in trucks.

Bashundhara Group Sector -A Chief Human Resource Officer Capt (retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza, Bashundhara Group Sector -A Chief Operating Officer (Brand and Marketing) MM Jasim Uddin, Bashundhara Group Sector –A Chief Operating Officer (Supply Chain Divisions) Abdus Shukur, Chief Finance Officer (Bashundhara Food Divisions) Belal Hossain, Head of Strategy, Planning and Public Relations Zakaria Jalal, Head of Sales, Food Divisions & LPG Redwanur Rahman were present among others.
