Jewellers have revised the tariff of gold for the eleventh time in April as the price of the high-quality precious yellow metal dropped again by Tk1,155 per bhori on Monday afternoon.
Good quality gold of 22-carat stood at Tk 1,11,461 per bhori (11.664 grams) due to a reduction in the price of pure gold on the local market.
The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) adjusted the price at a meeting on Monday , reads a press release.
The price of 22-carat gold will now be Tk9,556 per gram, 21-carat Tk 9,122 per gram, 18-carat Tk 7,819 per gram and traditional gold Tk 6,502 a gram.
The price of 22-carat silver is Tk180 per gram, Tk172 for 21-carat silver, Tk147 for 18-carat silver, and Tk110 for traditional silver.
