DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission on Thursday has approved charge sheets against eight officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

They are accused with the embezzling of Taka 1.5crore by placing fake bills.

The accused include Harun-or-Rashid, Golam Mustafa, Mohammad Jinnah, Abdul Malek, Noor Mohammad, MAST Chowdhury, Mir Azizur Rahman and MA Rob.

Investigation team of the anti-graft body, formed in this regard, has got proofs of their corruption. The ACC approved the team’s appeal of the charge sheet.

On September 5, 2010, ACC deputy director Benzir Ahmed filed five cases against Biman officials with Airport Thana.
