DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over two points to stand at 4,073 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 124236 with transaction at Tk 5,161 million. Of the issues traded, 140 advanced, 122 declined and 31 remained unchanged.

RINSPIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 505 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSCCL, GP, CVOPRL, SQUARETEXT, TALLUSPIN, PADMAOIL, UNITEDAIR, MPETROLEUM and APEXADELFT.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,941 by gaining over seven points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 101 gained, 92 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
