DHAKA: Both the country’s bourses witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over two points to stand at 4,143 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,70,178 with transaction at Tk 6,529 million.

Of the issues traded, 114 advanced, 161 declined and 19 remained unchanged.

BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 324 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were CMCKAMAL, JAMUNAOIL, RNSPIN,     UNITEDAIR, MPETROLEUM, GP, MAKSONSPIN, BSC and APEXTANRY.

Besides, Chittagong Stocks’ Selective Categories Index rose over 14 points to stand at 8,029.

Out of the issues traded, 87 gained, 125 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
