DHAKA: Investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 19 points to stand at 4,118 at the close on the day trading.

Trade deals stood at 1,70,420 with transaction at Tk 6,294 million. Of the issues traded, 190 advanced, 32 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 140 declined and 27 remained unchanged.

UNITEDAIR topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 207 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were HEIDELBCEM, BSCCL, FAREASTFIN, CMCKAMAL, GP, ENVOYTEX, RNSPIN, JMISMDL and GENNEXT.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,023 by dropping over 51 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 88 gained, 123 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
