DHAKA: The garment factories, declared shut for unrest, in the capital, Savar and Gazipur will be opened from Tuesday.

The decision was taken in a meeting of workers, owners and government representatives at Shipping Ministry on Monday noon.

After the meeting, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan said, “The workers, who will not join work tomorrow, will be marked as perpetrators.”

With Shahjahan Khan in the chair, the meeting was attended, among others, by acting president of BGMEA SA Mannan Kochi and workers leader Montu Ghosh.
