DHAKA: The 24th Bangladesh Apparel and Textile exposition (BATEXPO) showcasing the full range of apparel, textiles and other related products under the same roof would begin in the capital from October 10.
 
BATEXPO-2013 would provide a unique opportunity for apparel and other buyers to choose their valuable business partners during their visit to the fair.
 
In addition to the display of knitwear, woven garments and sweaters made in Bangladesh, the three-day event would also bring in other relevant technologies and service providing organizations ranging from financial institutions to freight forwarders.
 
Three Business seminars encompassing current global market issues and colourful fashion shows displaying the latest fashion trend would also be held on the sidelines of the expo.
 
The last edition of BATEXPO received spot export orders worth US$ 61.67 million, including ready stock apparels.
 
The expo is being organized by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
