DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 40 points to stand at 3,843 at 11:00am.

Trade deals stood at 10,660 with volume of transactions at Tk 330 million.

Of the issues traded, 28 advanced, 166 declined and 19 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 42 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 7,542 by dropping over 55 points at about 11:01am.

Out of the issues traded, 14 gained, 70 declined and five remained unchanged.
