DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Wednesday urged the authorities concerned to get back the occupied dormitories and infrastructures of Jagannath University.

“We want the occupied land and properties. Legal measures will be taken in this regard with proper documents if they do not get back the properties,” he said.  

The education minister came up with the plea while hundreds students of the university gharawed him when he was coming out from a function of Kobi Nazrul College in the noon.      

Nahid assured that residential halls would be set up outside Dhaka, if necessary.
