JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: Professor of Chemistry department Tapan Kumar Saha of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was appointed as new proctor for the university.

He was appointed as professor Muzibur Rahman resigned from the post on Monday. Ten others assistant proctors were appointed with him.

The assistant proctors are - Nazmul Hasan Talukdar from Bangla department, Sikdar Mohammad Julkarnin from Archaeology department, Humaiyun Kabir from Physics department, Nigar Sultana from Marketing department, Inamul Haque from Zoology department, Mehedi Iqbal and Tanjinul Haque Mollah from Geography and Environment department, Selina Akhter and Mahmudul Hasan from Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Sheikh Adnan Fahad from Journalism and Media Studies department.

Newly appointed Professor Tapan Kumar Saha sought the support of everyone.
