DHAKA: A workshop on photography and photojournalism was held at the Department of Journalism and Media Studies of Manarat International University (MIU) on Saturday.

Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr Chowdhury Mahmud Hasan addressed the workshop as chief guest.  

Head of Journalism and Media Studies Department Professor Dr M Jahangir Kabir chaired the program held at its Mirpur-1 Campus.

Registrar if the university Abul Bashar Khan inaugurated the workshop.

Manarat University’s Journalism and Media Studies Department faculty Rafiquzzaman Ruman moderated the program while Reuters’ Bangladesh Correspondent Rafiqur Rahman and National Press Club senior Vice-President Quazi Rownaq Hossain presented keynote at the workshop.

After the day-long workshop, the participants were given certificate.
