RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY: Students can complete the processes of admission in the honours first year for the session 2014-15 on online.

Applicants have to fill-up admission forms on online after sending the fees of faculty and halls through bKash.

The matter was disclosed through a notice, signed by acting registrar of the university Professor Entajul Haque, on the university website.

It said students have to pay the fee from any customer account of bKash to 01797-234567 (Merchant Wallet) through the ‘Payment Option’, determined by faculty, using ‘1415’ at reference option and ‘1’ at counter number, if necessary.

Later, a Transaction ID (TrxID) will be provided by bKash for the purpose of filling up forms. The account needs not to be applicant’s personal account and several applicants can use the same account for sending money, it added.

However, the students are not allowed to use b-Kash agent numbers for sending money.

Admission seekers can fill-up admission forms through http://admission.ru.ac.bd, the website of the university five minutes after sending money through bKash.

Admission seekers can get the online application forms by providing the admission test roll number, pin number provided by Teletalk and the TrxID provided by bKash.

A recently taken colour photo of 350×400 pixel has to be uploaded in the form along with the blood group. A PDF file will be available after filling up the form.

Admission seekers have to pay Tk 3,725 for Arts, Business Studies, Law and Social Science faculties while Tk 3,850 for Science, Biology and Geology and Agricultural and Engineering faculties.

Later, the admission seekers have to submit two printed copies of the PDF file along with original mark sheets and certificates of SSC and HSC examinations, original testimonial certificate and registration card of HSC and the registration card signed by the examinee during the admission test.

The notice also asked students to visit the website of the university for more information.
