DHAKA: Public Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday declared names of another 1,116 candidates who passed in the written test of the 34th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of PSC Diana Islam Sima told banglanews that some 953 candidates have passed in general and technical categories and 144 passed in technical/professional category.

The total number of candidates passed in the written test of 34th BCS is 10,938.

Besides, the 19 candidates, whose results were held, also announced passed. Of them, eight in general category, five in general and technical/professional and six in technical/professional categories.

On December 18, PSC published the results of written test of 34th BCS in which 9,822 candidates were declared passed.

The names of candidates who passed can be found on the website of PSC.

The viva-voce of the passed candidates will start on January 26 of 2015.
