DHAKA: Bangladeshi film director Kamar Ahmad Simon’s ‘Silence of the Seashell’ (Shonkhodhoni) has been selected for La Fabrique Les Cinémas du Monde.

Les Cinémas du Monde, with the support of the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of the Embassy of France in Bangladesh, will welcome Kamar Ahmad Simon during the upcoming Festival de Cannes, from 14 to 24 May.

The event Les Cinémas du Monde at the Festival de Cannes is run by the Institut Français in partnership with the International Organization of La Francophonie and France Médias Monde, composed of the public broadcasters RFI, Monte Carlo Doualiya, and France 24.
