DHAKA: The physical condition of Singer Nancy, who attempted to commit suicide, now undergoing treatment at Labaid Hospital in the city, improved a little bit on Sunday afternoon.

Dr Ali Abrar, coordinator of Labaid Hospital, made disclosure to banglanews.

He said, “She is now out of danger and undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.”

Earlier, Nancy’s husband Jayed and her younger brother Jony with other relatives shifted her to the hospital for better treatment from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Nancy was shifted to DMCH form Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in the dawn.

A rumor, spread around 8:00pm on Saturday, said that country’s one of the popular singers, Nazmun Munira Nancy, attempted to commit suicide taking 60 sleeping pills in phases at her Netrokona residence.

Though her husband denied the possibilities of Nancy’s suicide and told banglanews that nothing happened like that. The statement was proved false just after a few moments.

At around 9:00pm, an ambulance rushed the leading singer to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.

Then, it was said she took the attempt to kill herself over family feud.
