A Dhaka court on Wednesday (March 2) granted bail to the renowned actor, singer Tahsan Actor in a case filed by one of the customers of the controversial e-commerce platform Evaly Limited.

Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Rezaul Karim issued the order.

Earlier, the High Court granted his anticipatory bail for six weeks in the case filed with Dhanmondi Police Station.

One Saad Sam Rahman lodged the case accusing Mithila, Faria and Tahsan Khan with Dhanmondi Police Station in the capital on December 4 last year accusing them of embezzling Tk 318,00.

Tahsan Khan was the Chief Goodwill Officer of Evaly while Sabnam Faria was Head of Public Relations and Rafiath Rashid Mithila was Brand Ambassador of the platform.

On February 3, actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila was granted permanent bail in the case.
