Doctors this evening announced to withdraw ongoing agitation after holding a meeting with Health Secretary and student representatives. 

Following the announcement patients of Dhaka medical and other hospitals will get full scale treatment from tomorrow (Wednesday).

In a press conference organized in front of the administrative building of Dhaka Medical on Tuesday (Sep 3) at 7 pm, the agitating doctor Abdul Ahad canceled the program.

He said, “A four-member delegation representing doctors and students held a meeting with the Senior Health Secretary today at 5 pm. The meeting discussed the four pre-defined demands in detail. Considering the visible steps taken by the government and the overall situation in the country, we are announcing the resumption of full services in all hospitals.”
