DHAKA: India is ready to intensify Health Cooperation with Bangladesh.   

A press release from Indian High Commission made the assertion on Tuesday.
 
The 1st meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on Health Cooperation is likely to be held in New Delhi from February 26-27.

The JWG on Health Cooperation was established as follow up to the discussion of Prime Ministers of the two countries for the training of Bangladeshi doctors.

However, the statement released on the occasion of the visit of Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh to Bangladesh in September 2011.  

Moreover, the delegates of Bangladesh will have a discussion on health issues as well as about human resource in this sector even across the border during the visit.
