FROM JATIYA SANGSAD: The Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said that some 6,000 doctors will be recruited in the country within a month through Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

He came up with the assertion on Tuesday while he was answering a question of opposition Chief Whip Tajul Islam in the point of order period at the Jatiya Sangsad.

The Health Minister further said that there is a lack of sufficient doctor in our country so the recruitment will be made.

Nasim further said that some illegal diagnostic centers and clinics are doing only their business in the name of medical service.

The people are being deceived by these sorts of service providers, he further said.

However, an investigation team is formed under the authorization of health ministry and ready to detect the flimflam across the country from Tuesday, he added.

He also asked for assistance from the other parliament members for assuring a better medical service in the country.
