MYMENSINGH: The students of local nursing colleges Wednesday staged demonstration and wear black badges protesting the attack on intern nurses of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital by the intern doctors.

The agitating students also demanded the cancellation of registrations of intern doctors.

They also brought out the protest procession led by Mohammad Rasel and M Tofazzel Hossain, president and general secretary of Mymensingh Student Welfare Association, at 11:30am.

Later, they demanded cancellation of registrations of the interns and proper investigation and trial of the incident.

Vice-president Sabina Fatema Toma and publicity secretary M Delwar Hossain were among others present at the protest procession.
