DHAKA: Feeling lazy at work, try these techniques to feel alive again

We all get those mid afternoon lulls, when you've just had a heavy lunch and very little sleep at night. You feel dull and useless and feel like you could maybe use a bed. 

To awaken your senses, try these easy techniques, reports The Times of India.

1. Water - Water really wakes you up. Just down a glass of fresh, plain water and you'll feel great! Not only is it healthy, it also helps your system bounce into action!

2. Take walk - Sometimes sitting in one place for too long can also trigger dullness and sleepiness. Just take a walk outdoors and if your office doesn't allow you to do so, walk up and down your aisle for a while.

3. Get coffee/tea - Sure shot ways of waking up and having some strong tea or coffee or any beverage for that matter. You could even walk up to the coffee machine!

4. Splash your face with water - A cool splash of water on your face and eyes will help keep the dullness at bay too.

5. Talk - Not on web chats but in person, walk up to colleagues and indulge in some small talk. Paying attention to other people will snap you out of your sleepiness and enable you to focus on work.
