DHAKA: Physicians of all government hospitals and health centers across the country will provide free medical services for three hours on August 15 marking the National Mourning Day.

The services will be given from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the day.

The decision was taken at a health ministry meeting with minister Mohammed Nasim in the chair.

The services will include blood test and treatments of diabetes, high blood pressure and other diseases.

According to the decision, physicians were asked to provide free treatment to poor and destitute people at all hospitals and health centers despite the day will be a public holiday.

Besides, milad mahfil and discussions will be organized at every hospital on the day.
