DHAKA: BJP president Rajnath Singh on Friday congratulated prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the party’s performance in the Lok Sabha polls and said that the trends indicate ‘a landslide’ for the party.

In a message on Twitter, Rajnath Singh described the BJP’s performance as ‘superb’, reports NDTV.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president said he spoke to Modi over the telephone following early result trends.

‘Congratulated Shri Narendra Modi over the phone on BJP’s superb performance in the Lok Sabha election. Trends indicate it is a landslide,’ Rajnath Singh posted.
