DHAKA: The Red Cross announced a temporary ceasefire in two zones including Khan Younis and Sejaia of the Gaza Strip.

According to a media report, says The Jerusalem Post.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has not confirmed any reports of a ceasefire.

The Red Cross intends to use such a ceasefire for the purpose of evacuating wounded Palestinians after days of heavy fighting in urban areas.
