DHAKA: An undersea earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude struck in Moluccas, Indonesia on Sunday.

The US Geological Survey said, reports The Straits Times.

The quake, only 10 kms deep, was 128 kms northwest of Ternate in the Moluccas.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
