KOLKATA: A court here sentenced six persons including four Bangladesh nationals to 10 years in prison each, in Burdwan blast case.
Judge Siddharth Kanjilal of Kolkata Metropolitan and Sessions Judge's Court announced the verdict Friday (August 30).
13 others handed down jail sentence on various terms.
On Wednesday (August 28), a special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India convicted 19 persons including four Bangladeshis.
The four Bangladeshis were made guilty under the foreign law too.
On October 2, 2014, two people were killed in the busy Khagragarh locality of West Bengal's Burdwan district when an improvised explosive device that they were making went off.
The house was taken on rent by banned militant outfit Jamat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and reportedly used as a factory of firearms and explosives.
