India is the hardest-hit country with 1,078,782 cases, 26,838 deaths and 677,856 recoveries from coronavirus in Saarc regions at 15:20 pm till Sunday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest data from worldometer.
Pakistan is the second worst-hit Saarc regions with 5,568 deaths and 204,276 recoveries from 263,496 cases.
Bangladesh is the third hardest-hit country in the regions with 2,618 deaths and 111,644 recoveries from 204,525 cases. So far, the active cases are 90,263 in the country.
Among other COVID-19 affected countries in the Saarc regions, Afghanistan has gone up to 1,181 deaths and 23,634 recoveries, followed by Maldives with 15 deaths and 2,354 recoveries, Sri Lanka 11 deaths and 2,023 recoveries, and Nepal 40 deaths and 11,637 recoveries, worldometer reported.
Bhutan has reported no death from coronavirus. A total of 87 cases of corona infection have been detected while 80 patients have been considered recovered in the country.
Besides, the coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll has reached 6,05,142 as 1,44,40,011 people have been infected worldwide till Sunday afternoon (July 19, Bangladesh Time).
A total of 86,25,382 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.
A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
