DHAKA: This week’s beauty tip is on ‘Deep Side Part’. Take your makeup box and try…
Deep Side Part
Tired of the same-old center part? A deep, graphic side part like American actress Amy Adams’ is a quick, easy way to upgrade your `do with minimal effort.
For the Los Angeles premiere of ‘American Hustle’, the star’s hairstylist Laini Reeves mirrored the crisp contrast of her black and white dress with a sleek blowout and a low part, reports InStyle.
To start, Reeves applied a volumizing mousse by John Freida to Adams’ damp strands, then used a paddle brush to blow-dry her hair straight.
She formed a deep side part, then tucked the remainder of the star’s hair behind her left ear, touching up any uneven areas with a flat iron.
If you normally part your hair to the middle or the opposite side, make like the star and prep your strands with a mousse to ensure that it doesn’t revert back.
Having trouble with placing your part? Use the arch of your eyebrow as your guide.
Use the tail end of a comb to section your strands right above the highest point of your brow, then apply a light veil of hairspray for added insurance.
