With the final days of summer approaching, it’s time to break out your bright lipsticks while you still can, and we’re loving the vivid tangelo hue we spotted on singer Eve.

‘Eve is super-sexy but still so cool and sophisticated, so I wanted to create a look that is a little bit rock and roll, yet still modern and feminine,’ said her makeup artist Jodie Boland, who used ck one products on the star, reports InStyle.

Boland set off Eve’s bright lipstick with clean skin and precise cat-eyeliner, so if you`re going for a similar look, make like the singer and go easy on the eyes.

Instead of trying to pair your lip liner with an exact match to your lipstick, opt for a blendable nude hue.

Many liners can appear darker when applied, so by using a neutral shade, you’ll avoid the dreaded contrasting effect, and your summery lipstick can take centre stage.
