DHAKA: The body of eminent actor Khaled Khan has been taken to central Shaheed Minar where people of all walks of life will pay their last tribute.

Poet Syed Shamsul Haque received the body at around 10:30am at Shaheed Minar where actor Mamunur Rashid, Combined Cultural Alliance president Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu and cultural personality Ramendu Mazumdar were present.

Earlier on Friday night, the legendary actor and director of stage and TV drama Khaled Khan passed away at 08:18pm.

Family sources said that the Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at central Shaheed Minar and then the body will be buried at native village in Tangail.
