BSF abducts farmer in Kushtia

KUSHTIA: Members of Border Security Force (BSF) of India abducted a farmer from Daulatpur frontier area of the district on Saturday noon.

The victim is Ripon Mollah, 34, son of Badu Molla, hailed from Mohammadpur Charpara village of Ramkrishnapur Union of Daulatpur upazila.

Ramkrishnapur UP Chairman Riazul Haque told banglanews a patrolling team of Sarkerpara BSF camp under 91 BSF Commandant of Jalangi Thana in Mursidabad district of India abducted Ripon Molla illegally while he was working at his land adjacent to Daulatpur border area.

Ramkrishnapur BOP Commander Habilder Abdul Wahab of 32 BGB Battalion said they have sent a letter to BSF in this regard.
