DHAKA: A Dhaka court Monday placed a 13-day remand in two cases to three alleged members of Pakistan-based militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.

Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan passed the order after Inspector Ashraful Islam of Detective Branch (DB) of Police produced them before the court seeking 20 days’ remand for each of them.

On Sunday night, the law enforcement agency held three trained members of Pakistan based banned militant organization Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from city on Sunday night.

The detainees are Mehmud, Osman, and Fakhrul Hasan.

Detective Branch Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam in a press conference said that the militants were preparing at capital’s Kakrail to go to Teknaf.
