DHAKA: A youth was killed after falling into lift shaft at International Hall in University of Dhaka on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Sohel Rana, nephew of International Hall employee Rubel Khan.

Rubel said hearing sound he rushed near the lift and found Sohel under lift as it crushed.

Sohel was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.
