DHAKA: A youth was found dead in Mirpur area of the city on Thursday afternoon.
On information, police recovered the slaughtered body. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Police sources said pedestrians noticed a slaughtered body in the area at 1:00pm and informed nearby police station.
On information, Shah Ali Thana police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
Officer-in-Charge of Shah Ali Thana Selimuzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
