2 BCL men found dead in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Two activists of Chhatra League were found dead on Monday inside a septic tank in Sholosahar area in Chittagong after two days of their missing.

The deceased were identified as garment worker Forkan, 20 and Kamrul Islam, 20, 2nd year student of MES College. Both of them were involved in Chhatra League politics.

Kamrul’s mother Josna Begum told banglanews, “Someone called me over phone and said that Kamrul’s body is in a septic tank of Sholosahar.”  

Later, family members rushed to the spot and police recovered the bodies at around 11:00am Monday.

Confirming the matter Assistant Police Commissioner of Panchlaish Zone Dipok Jyoti Khisa told banglanews, “The bodies were tied with rope and tendons were cut off.”

In the meantime, claming Kamrul as their activist, Chhatra League’s Wasim group of MES College vandalized around 15 vehicles in Sholosahar protesting the killing.

BCL gave 24-hr ultimatum to police to detain the killers.
