DHAKA: BNP founder, also seventh president of the country, Ziaur Rahman’s younger brother Khalilur Rahman passed away at Washington in United States of America on Sunday morning.

He was 71.

Khalilur Rahman was suffering from old-age complications for a long time.

He was a chemist by profession.

Khalilur is survived by three daughters and their husbands and many well-wishers.

An officer of Gulshan BNP office Shairul Kabir said “His Namaj-e-Janaza and burial will be held in Washington.”
