DHAKA: Additional Police Super (ASP) of Dhaka district ABM Masud was withdrawn on Wednesday afternoon for his alleged involvement in attack on BIRDEM doctors.

AIG (Media) of Police Headquarters Jalal Uddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Five doctors, including a female one, were assaulted by the relatives of a patient who died at the hospital on Sunday. ABM Masud allegedly led them.

Birdem doctors went on indefinite work abstention demanding detention of the attackers.
