Nur’s illegal structures evicted

NARAYANGANJ: Bangladesh Inland Water Transport   Authority (BIWTA) evicted the illegal establishments owned by Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nur Hossain on the bank of River Shitalakkhya.                       

The eviction drive started at 10:00am and has ended in the noon on Tuesday.        

Nur Hossian had been running sand business setting up illegal structures in Kanchpur area for long time.  

 Earlier, police raided the office of Nur Hossain, prime accused in panel mayor Nazrul killing and seized a blood-stained microbus, recovered mobile of Chandan Sarkar and detained 12 people on Saturday.      

On last Wednesday, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and four others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of abduction.
