NARAYANGANJ: The BNP-backed chairman of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj Azharul Islam Mannan has been suspended for third time.

The local government ministry suspended the chairman following the court accepted charge-sheet against the BNP leader in explosive case.   

The suspension letter was signed on July 05. Earlier, the upazila chairman was suspended for two times.

Azharul Islam Mannan is a member of BNP’s central executive committee and general secretary of Sonargaon upazila BNP.
