FENI: Some 20-25 people were sued in Feni for carrying out attacks on media vehicles with the motorcade led by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on the way to her recent visit to Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar.

Feni Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rashed Khan Chowdhury told Banglanews that police, as a plaintiff, filed the case on Tuesday night (October 31).  
 
However, Khaleda Zia’s motorcade came under attack by unidentified miscreants on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at Lalpur and Fatehpur areas of Feni on her way to Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday (October 28). Accompanying vehicles of DBC, Channel 24, Ekattor and some other assigned media houses were affected in the incident. 

Besides, two buses were torched in Feni Tuesday (October 31) while Khaleda Zia was returning to Dhaka. Another case will be filed over the arson attack, said the OC.
