SIRAJGANJ: Police arrested two local leaders of BNP in separate cases in Sirajganj Sunday (January 14).

They are—Nazmul Hossain Talukder Rana, president of Sirajganj municipality unit of BNP and Amar Krishna Das, secretary general of Sirajganj sadar upazila unit of the party.   

The duo were nabbed from the Old Shaheed Minar area of EB Road in the town, at around 2:00am.

Sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Helal Uddin told Banglanews that arrest warrants were issued against Nazmul in two cases filed over obstructing government action and sabotage while Amar Krisha was wanted in six cases.
