NOAKHALI: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said people of the county have no reliance in the assorted leadership of newly formed alliance Jatiya Oikyo Prokriya. 

“Who is the leader of this alliance of 10, 20 parties? Is it possible to continue movement without a leader?” he said. 

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remarks while addressing an election campaign in Kabirhat upazila of Noakhali district on Tuesday noon (September 25).

Aside from criticizing new alliance ‘national unity’, he also mentioned BNP’s political inaction saying, “The party is gone now after being failed to form any movement what so ever to release its chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail. What other movement can they do now for election?”
