Head coach of Pakistan Red Ball team Jason Gillespie in an informal conversation with Shaheen Shah Afridi might may miss Bangladesh Test due to personal reasons.

“Shaheen Afridi has played a lot of cricket,” Jason Gillespie commented.

Jason Gillespie said Shaheen has bowled three times more than Starc in a year. “Shaheen Shah Afridi also plays leagues with all three formats,” he said.

Pakistan cricket team coach said the workload of Pakistani fast bowlers needed to be managed. He clarified that the test team will be led by Shaan Masood.

“I haven't met Shaan yet, but I am in contact on the phone,” Jason Gillespie said. Jason Gillespie said he met skipper Babar Azam in Lahore.

Pakistan team camp for the series against Bangladesh will start in the first week of August.
